Jordan insurance company organizes a voting initiative for petra

In continuation of its patriotic efforts to serving the Kingdom and in the context of its abundant support to Petra, Jordan Insurance Company (JIC) organized an employees’ day out to Petra where the Company’s staff voted for Petra to become one of the world’s new 7 wonders.

“Petra is a rich historical treasure and an unmatched exquisite landmark that we take great pride of.. Petra occupying a position on the chart of the new 7 wonders will with no doubt have a very positive impact on the Jordanian’s tourism sector and economy, we genuinely hope that our voting efforts will consolidate the national campaign launched by Jordan Tourism Board,” stated Imad Abdul Khaliq, General Manager of JIC.

The trip included the participation of the 70 employees who conducted an extensive voting procedure for Petra. The voting process was followed by a tour of the beautiful city, entertainment and lunch.

“It is our duty as Jordanians to be supporting this patriotic initiative. We have deep faith in Petra, and we hope that our votes will help materialize our goals and provide Petra with the fame and honor it deserves,” concluded Abdul Khaliq.

In 1951, a group of prominent Jordanian businessmen founded the Jordan Insurance Company (JIC) as a pioneering project. It was apparent from the onset that JIC will stand as a pillar in Jordan’s fledgling economy, but no one could have predicted the success that would come.

Since then, JIC was so well received that seven years later the founders decided to expand regionally. JIC began branching out in Kuwait, Sudan, Libya, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Today, JIC operates seven branches regionally.
Now, over 55 years later, Jordan Insurance Company continues to build its customer base on integrity, loyalty and quality customer care. And to ensure the quality of the services provided to our customers, it is backed by a number of the world’s largest reinsurance companies.
