Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.'s anticipated Fox Business Network will make its first appearance on October 15th.
The channel, led by Roger Ailes, Chairman/CEO, Fox News and Chairman/Fox Television Stations; and Neil Cavuto, SVP/Managing Editor/Business News at Fox News, will go head-to-head against CNBC and Bloomberg TV in the financial news category.
Cynopsis reports that Fox Business News will start with 30 million subscribers and carriage deals including Comcast, Time Warner Cable, DirecTV and Charter Communications, including a presence in NYC courtesy of Time Warner.
